Advanced Oil Painting - Two day workshop
Monday & Wednesday, October 5 & 7- 10:30-4:30

Class description:
A class for serious oil painters who want to deepen their understanding of working with oils. Think of these two days as an opportunity to try somethign you don't do in your normal painting practice, such as: plein air painting, working with tonal backgrounds, try working on a larger scale and need the wall space to try that out, or do a series of 3 small paintings and complete in two days. We will gather to discuss works created over the past year and  dialogue with others about composition, subject and content. 
 
Students must bring most of their materials, a list of supplies needed for the class will be sent out after registration is completed. A variety of stretcher frames, canvas, wood panels and gessoed paper will be supplied for experimentation.

Scheduled dependent on adequate enrollment.
​Space is limited to 8 students. This allows each person a large table space to work.
