Gel Printing

Gel printing is a great introductory class on printmaking techniques. It is one of the most playful techniques I have discovered in years. No prior art experience is needed for this class. If you enjoy color, texture and experimentation this class is for you. I begin class with a demonstration of the process, tools and finished products. There are many stencils, textured tools and raw materials students can add to their prints. If someone wants to make their own stencils, I have materials for you to complete cutting your own stencils. All the materials are provided for the class. You can work on a series of designs or make each print unique. You will complete the day with many finished prints that could be framed individually, you can make sets of cards, or use your finished prints in conjunction with collage or handmade books. The possibilities are endless.

Tuition cost $120
All materials will be provided and all levels are welcome.

​Please bring a bag lunch to enjoy on the porch.
Scheduled dependent on adequate enrollment.
​Space is limited to 8 students. This allows each person a large table space to work.
