In September 2018, the 77 children at Sandwich Central School learned the process of printmaking with artist-in-residence KathrynField. The students, kindergarten through sixth grade, sketched and refined their designs based on images of our town. They transferred their designs onto plates of soft foam and then rolled them with colorful ink to produce a series of prints, some of which are displayed here.
