Class description:
This class is designed to follow the Basic Drawing class. It is inspired by studying how Matisse developed his compositions using collage, then moving to study sketches and eventually painting. We will work from life, first with cut paper to create a collage, then work with ink pens using a variation of lines to create a composition and ending with a discussion and practice with value and shading. This class could be continued with a third drawing class in the study of drawing animals.
 
All materials are provided.
Artist of all levels are welcome to join.
Tuition: $60

Scheduled dependent on adequate enrollment.
​Space is limited to 8 students. This allows each person a large table space to work.
