Class description: This class focuses on seeing forms and shapes within a still life. All shapes in nature are based on geometry. We will begin drawing basic geometric shapes and move to examining how these shapes are found in all natural forms. Basic principles of perspective, color mixing with watercolor will be demonstrated. The first half of the day will be spent drawing, doing study sketches and the afternoon will be devoted to creating colorful still life compositions.

All materials are provided but students are welcome to bring whatever they enjoy working with too.

​Please bring a bag lunch to enjoy on the porch.
Scheduled dependent on adequate enrollment.
​Space is limited to 8 students. This allows each person a large table space to work.
